We’re really in the full swing of things around here at Werner Park! Our 50th Season is upon us, and we had a great Flashback Friday back to our 2011 season, our first as the Storm Chasers! Our next Flashback Friday is on May 25th where we’ll become the 2010 Omaha Royals, celebrating our last year at Rosenblatt Stadium. Come out to see us in those flashback jerseys!
May is a super exciting month for us! My friends at ParentSavvy.com are helping us with Star Wars Night at Werner Park on May 4th! Make sure to enter for the prizes they are giving away! They’re super cool (as always). This is one of my favorite days to be at the ballpark each year, so don’t miss it! We’ll have characters from the Star Wars franchise and special jerseys for the game! You can even bid on those jerseys during the game with the proceeds going to the Methodist Hospital Foundation! Our other fun theme night in May in Clue Night on May 26th! We’ll be having a mystery baseball giveaway, and there will be a fun mystery afoot at Werner Park. Be there so you can follow along and help us solve it!
Our 50th Season celebration continues this month with a Mike Sweeney bobblehead giveaway on May 5th, and Mike Sweeney himself will be here to celebrate with us! The weather has finally turned towards spring, so come joins us at a Storm Chasers game this month!
