If your kids are anything like my son, they get so dirty and ruin everything they wear in the summer. Between the sand, grass, mud, water and popsicles there is bound to be an outfit change at least once during the day. I have learned a few things as a new mom too with Bastian’s wardrobe, 1. never let them wear white 2. lightweight clothes and shoes are a must and 3. when in doubt, go naked.
I put together a few summer outfits for different summer-time occasions for your little ones.

Bastian actually has this exact outfit. I love the tank top on him because he gets to show off his big baby muscles. The shorts are super light weight and dry quick. They are so inexpensive too! The shoes were a splurge purchase, but I love them because they are light weight and you can throw them in the washer to clean them.

This outfit is the perfect combo of sporty and girly. I love the coral ruffle shorts and the heather grey tank top, just perfect for a little girl who doesn’t want to worry about their diaper showing. These sneakers are easy to get on and off and can be throw in the washer when they start to get stinky or dirty.

I think this outfit is adorable! I am a sucker for colored pants, not to mention cut-off shorts…yes please! This checkered colored onesie makes your little man look a little more classy, and can transition into fall by putting a sweater over it. These shoes are easy to get on and off and are supposed to be great for baby’s feet too.

All I can say is, please let me have a girl someday. I also want this is my size because everything about this outfit screams cool. I have been kind of obsessed with heart sunnies lately and if you are lucky enough to have a child that will leave them on, then YOU MUST BUY THESE. This pineapple jumper is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time and I might buy it just in case I have a girl some day…would I jinx myself? What little girl doesn’t want pink shoes, let alone pink shoes that are bunnies? Adorable.

This outfit is on my wishlist. We are going to a wedding this summer, and I have been dreaming of getting this for Bastian to wear. I have a hard time spending that kind of money on clothes for him, because did I mention kids ruin everything they wear? They also grow out of them so quick. Bastian has these sandals already, so I am one-third of the way there. I tend to not by outfits that are too matchy-matchy, so in my mind this outfit is perfect!

‘If you buy it, they will come’…again, do you think I will jinx myself? Your little girl would surely be the princess of the ball in this ensemble! I love the mint green and metallic combination too. The headband is like the cherry-on-top. I think I would take this in my size as well.
