Halloween is going to be here before we know it! Let’s get creative this year and make our own costumes. Yes, even you non-crafty type can create a homemade masterpiece that will be sure to impress your little ones, friends and family! Next up, Charlie Chaplin. Nothing is more adorable than a mustache on a baby, am I right?
This costume is easy peasy! You will need:
- a black blazer
- black pants
- a black tie
- a black top hat
- white face paint
- fake mustaches
- a cane
- small chalkboard
Smear a little white face paint on your child’s face to get that black and white film look to the costume. Cut one of the mustaches in half to use as bushy eyebrows and then use one for their actual mustache. And since Charlie Chaplin was a silent film star use a chalkboard to Trick or Treat. With white chalk draw a little border around the edge of the chalkboard and write “trick or treat” in the middle in a fun cursive font. This costume will be sure to get laughs from the older neighbors. What little kid doesn’t love to smack around carry a cane?
